We took a trip to look for an abandon Engine in a field today but was surprise to also find the abandon Roosevelt railroad M line. This was a 7 mile rail line that President Roosevelt took as he went down to Warm Springs Georgia. The President rode the line around 50 times and his funeral train rode this line. There use to be a Museum at this location but also has become abandon. The engine in the photo was built in 1892. There is another image of a cart that they was planning on taking tours on. I found some 2009 Youtube videos of maintenance workers using it and traveling down the rail line.
